This old shoe warehouse has been converted into the most beautiful playground of recycled materials we have ever seen. It's fun for kids and adults. Not free, but worth it.

You can't come to the Lou without checking out our famous Landmark. Strap on your best fanny pack and visor and play it up tourist style. Go get some pictures, ride to the top, and leave with a warm fuzzy feeling.

A mere 4 blocks from Dustin and Sara's apartment, this classic Irish Pub has everything going for it. Good food, great beer and even better music. Have a pint of their exclusive McGurks Ale. Also leave with a warm fuzzy feeling.

Sara's favorite restaurant. Delicious and inexpensive Vietnamese. Walk around the rest of South Grand while youre down there. Great bars and shops.

Thanks to InBev, Schlafly is now the largest locally owned brewery. A definite must if staying downtown. Wash down your Beer Cheese Soup or German Schnitzel with one of their handcrafted Ales or Lagers. Dustin's pick is the Dry Hopped APA, Sara votes for the cider.

Sara and Dustin's favorite watering hole. Very St. Louis. Very good food and drink. Play washers on the patio! (Or is that WaRshers?)

Taste of St. Louis is a celebration of food, art, and music. Be warned it can take on an almost carnival atmosphere at times.

Last year they had performances by "Eve 6" and "Everclear". So we're looking forward to seeing what washed up 90s bands they have this year!
(but seriously Dustin loves those bands)
